Campito Books was conceived as a place to share the stories in my head and the things that capture my heart. It was never a place to get rich and famous. Campito, at its core, was created with the hope of shared experiences and new understanding.

This book takes those effects apart — the optics, the mechanics, the crowd engineering, the sheer stubbornness of making a thing work on the ten-thousandth run as well as the first. Understanding the trick, it turns out, does not spoil it.
